Noir Detective Poster

This is the artwork I did for a Noir project that I created as part of a look book. I'm a huge fan of the Noir Detective films of the 1940s and 1950s and wanted to capture the essence of a lot of the best imagery from that time period, i.e. the films of Bogart and Bacall, Ladd and Lake, Welles, Douglas, Lancaster, etc, as well as the books of Hammett, Spillane and Chandler, etc. I spent the most time focused in the lighting to achieve maximum effect.
